The Process
- If you’re happy where you are but your home just isn’t all that it could be, remodeling could be the answer. But please, whether you are remodeling your kitchen or bathroom or adding a new wing, don’t underestimate the skill that is needed to seamlessly incorporate new space into an existing structure.
- After discussing the scope of your project in detail and looking at plans, if you have them, we will be able to give you a fairly accurate estimate of what the job will cost. However, jobs will always be charged on a cost plus basis. We do this because there is no way to know what problems might be encountered behind existing walls or in old plumbing or electric work. We don’t want to add in money for contingencies that probably won’t come to pass. You will get a complete accounting of all costs, monthly, and we will keep you informed of how the job is progressing as it relates to your budget.
- Watching your home be transformed is very exciting but it is also disruptive. Our building team is always aware that we are operating in your home and we will do everything possible to make the experience a positive one for you and your family. The principals of our firm are hands on managers and spend their time in the field, on jobs like yours.
